Penguin was purchased from our friends at Monbeg Sports Horses in early 2020. Fiona really rated him and she genuinely thinks he is one best she has ever had. Not only does he have all the talent, he also has a lovely nature to go with it.
In 2022 Penguin stepped up to novice very successfully, with 5 top 6 placings and finishing 4rd in his first CCI2*-L at Ballindenisk.
In his 7 year old season (2023), he continued to excel himself with multiple top 3 placings at intermediate, leading to him being selected for the World Young Horse Championships at Le Lion, where he jumped a super double clear in the CCI3*-L 7YO.
2024 was a very successful season for Penguin. He was placed 3rd in the intermediate championships at Hartpury, 10th in the 8/9YO Adanced, 1st in the OI at Farley Hall and went on to finish 13th in his first 4*S 8/9YO at Blenheim, with a good test and double clear.
In 2025 Penguin continued to go from strength to strength. He finished 5th in the advanced at Little Downham, 9th in the 8/9YO at Aston and 5th at Blenheim 4*S 8/9YO with a super 25 dressage and double clear! This led to him being selected to go to Boekelo for his first 4*L where he did a good dressage and double clear. He really is a special horse and we can't wait for his future.
